23-30 reading in usual places – challenge complete!

Posted on

Continuing with yesterday’s theme of charging about the place taking photographs I’ve now managed to complete the reading in unusual places challenge. Unlike yesterday today has been more pleasant and less town centre based! Here are the photographs for number 23 to 30:

10-22 reading in unusual places photographs

Posted on

Been on a bit of a mission today and taken lots of photographs of me reading in unusual places (well had lots of pictures taken…). Ive even braved 3 different town centres on a Saturday in my efforts to complete this challenge. I can’t normally cope with one!

5- On a bridge overlooking the canal in Venice

Pretty darn lucky to be spending New Year in this beautiful city I couldn’t resist getting a picture of me reading there ;-)  the book is The Panda’s Thumb, my book of choice for the plane journeys.

4- Whilst sat on my bike

This picture was taken for an article in the Leigh Reporter.  I’d say sat on a cyclo-cross bike is a pretty unusual place to read Herodotus!

3- Stepping stones the Inn at Whitewell

Went for a nice autumnal walk today and couldn’t resist getting number 3 ticked off for a photograph of me reading in an unusual place:

2- Under the Eiffel Tower

Spending a few days in Paris as a member of staff on a school trip allowed  me to make some progress on reading War and Peace (12 novels challenge) and to get a picture for my reading in unusual places challenge.  The video is taken courtesy of Mr Kenny a fellow 30th Birthday(er).  Happy birthday for next week!
